I’m Back!

Hello, I'm backAren’t you super excited that you have a new blog in your inbox from Discovering Me??? Ha! I dare not flatter myself that much, but I can tell you that I am excited to roll up my sleeves and get back into the blogging world.

The last month has been a magical whirlwind. It all started with an incredible family celebration on the eve of Ken’s and my wedding and wrapped up this past week with settling into my new home in Holladay, Utah. I have debated about whether or not to blog about the wedding, the honeymoon, the adjusting adventures in a new city, county, state! So far I haven’t been hit with the inspiration stick on those topics, but other interesting thoughts (at least to me) are rising to the top. I would imagine in due time highlights of those special adventures will emerge (“Moment….” which has a great story to it), and if we aren’t friends on facebook then I have some great photos of Europe to share (please be my friend, and like my Discovering Me page too)!

Much of what I write centers on my life and lessons I learn from family, friends, mentors and most importantly the Holy Spirit. I try to incorporate humor where I can, and I really try not to be too self-centered (but then again it is called Discovering Me). All that rambling to say, my hope is some how, some way my story, my life will have an impact of hope on the lives of those around me. That when they walk away from meeting me, sharing a meal with me, reading my blog, in the future reading my book, that they are touched in a way that only Christ can do. Amidst the fun of my musings, my true purpose is never lost and I look forward to seeing how God will use this medium to further His kingdom and His message. It is not about me in the end.

Thanks for being faithful readers. If you know of anyone that might be encouraged by what I have to share, please pass this along. Just know how much it would mean to me.
